About us

Our projects are delivered through “Girl Talk” a subsidiary of Wellspring Networks CIC.

“Girl Talk” is a forum through which we create a safe space for women to share, learn and grow.

Wellspring Networks CIC supports a Nigerian based charity called Nwanyichukwu Outreach launched in December 2020 which also caters for young women.

Dr Nkiru Asiegbunam (Medical Doctor)

Founder Director

Professionally, I am a medical doctor with nearly three decades experience of working with vulnerable children and nurturing young people.
I did voluntary work with teenagers as a youth counsellor for over a decade. I hold a diploma in therapeutic counselling and I am a budding coach. I am passionate about  mentoring, coaching and equipping young women for destiny.
I founded and I continue to champion two not for profit projects that invest in the future of young women – “Girl Talk” in the UK and ‘Nwanyichukwu  Outreach’ a registered charity in Nigeria. I enjoy organising workshops and events, teaching, developing strategy, quality improvement and quality assurance. I also enjoy praying, writing to share wisdom and inspiration, and bringing encouragement.

Mrs Adewunmi Dosunmu (Child and Adolescent Health Practitioner)

Director and Company Secretary

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse currently working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. I work closely with young people and their families, supporting them through mental health challenges and ensuring they receive the right care and guidance to promote recovery and resilience.
I serve as a parent governor,  championing the needs of children, and helping to create an environment where every child can thrive.
My passion is working with teenagers to inspire and mentor them. I also serve with “Girl Talk” and Nwanyichukwu Outreach, where I support young women as they navigate life’s challenges. My faith in Christ shapes, my belief in bringing hope, encouragement, and guidance to young women.
I enjoy using my creative skills, exploring new adventures, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Sarudzai Bikwa (Legal professional)

Director

I am a dedicated and results-driven manager with a passion for leadership, youth development, and community engagement. With a proven track record in team management and project execution, I brings both strategic vision and hands-on support to every role.

Outside of the office, I enjoys a spot of tennis, which brings discipline, focus, and teamwork. I am committed to making a positive impact, actively mentoring young people, believing in the power of guidance, encouragement, and opportunity to shape the next generation of leaders.

Whether on the court, at home or in the workplace I thrive on challenges, collaboration, and helping others reach their full potential.

Objectives

  • Enable young women to participate better in society
  • Provide advice, mentoring, cheer leading and networking opportunities and other activities and resources for young women
  • Organise indoor and outdoor programmes and activities
  • Help young women advance in life and develop their skills, confidence, capabilities and capacities
  • Promote the educational, employment, training, social, civic and spiritual needs of young women through information, advice and guidance.
  • Work in partnership with other organisations to seek solutions to the barriers and problems encountered by young women in the community.

Our Projects & Services

We have run various educational, counselling, mentorship, recreational, social, career and skill development services in the UK through the “Girl Talk” project and internationally through the work of Nwanyichukwu Outreach.

The benefits of “Girl Talk” include peer mentorship, cheerleading, discovering and utilizing ones strengths. Our holistic approach helps young women build their confidence which in turn promotes their emotional well-being as they begin to understand, appreciate and celebrate their own uniqueness- feeling confident in their own skin. We have facilitated and hosted networking events covering topics such as: emotional intelligence, making good decisions, managing my wallet etc.
